About Mapp

Johnny Mapp is a talented artist who believes that painting is a way of life. His dedication to expressing himself through his art is apparent in his works, which come to life through various mediums such as oil, acrylic, watercolors, airbrush, and pen and ink. He studied art in Europe for six months, before completing his education at the Art Institute of Atlanta in 1989 with a degree in Visual Communication. Mapp’s collection includes an array of stunning pieces featuring wildlife, athletes, farmscapes, and wildlife. A Renaissance man, Mapp also enjoys promoting education to elementary school children during career days. He has donated his original works to various non-profit organizations such as the American Cancer Society and the National Council of Negro Women.
